***OUR POLICY***

Okay.  I didn't think that this page was necessary at first. Then I received some disturbing emails. The emails that I found disturbing had three things in common.

1. They complimented my site.
2. They expressed great joy and relief that we were yaoi-free.
3. They had derogatory things to say about yaoi and said them to me quite freely as if they expected me to agree.

Now, I don't have a problem with the first two things. By all means, send those nice comments in!  I'm always happy to receive those! But I do have problems with the third.

Let me state our policy at Aishiteru:

Aishiteru stands by a policy of tolerant and open minds.

While we may be yaoi-free, this does NOT imply that we hold it in contempt.  We don't. If you happen to hold any negative yaoi-sentiments, please keep them to yourself.

I don't want to know.

So please don't send me email if you have derogatory things to say about yaoi. You're just giving the non-yaoi community a bad rep.

Non-Yaoi simply means that our page won't contain any yaoi content whatsoever.  Our site is Yaoi-Free. It does NOT mean we hate it or that we disagree with it.
